The ideas we are most passionate about often come to us in a serendipitous moment. So was the case for vacation rental property management.
Many years ago while on a trip to beautiful Barcelona, the founders of SoCal.host used AirBnB (still very much in its infancy at the time) to find a place to rest their heads: a room in Gaudi's historic Casa Mila. The listing looked appealing and almost too good to be true--they were surprised such a place existed.
But there they were, in Barcelona, staying in a piece of architectural history. They befriended the host and realized they spoke the same foreign language (French) and found themselves treated to an evening of rooftop (yes, surrounded by Gaudi's "Garden of Warriors") jazz and cocktails under the stars.
It was a dream and it sparked a passion for the dream that has become our reality. The founders had a truly memorable experience renting out that room in the Gaudi building and their desire is to bring similar memorable experiences through vacation property rental.
